Campus News

  • Updates from attending campuses

 UMass Boston:

 (From Mark Lewis)

  • We have trained a number of new faculty on Wikispaces, Google Apps, Blackboard, and SafeAssign.
  • We received positive responses from faculty to our customer satisfaction survey, which we are pleased with. We want to explore ways to get higher response rates.
  • We are reconfiguring the support on Wikispaces, Blogs, and web-enhanced courses using Blackboard to involve sub-teams and utilize our graduate assistants. Challenges include information sharing on such teams, avoiding duplication, and ensuring consistency of support.

 UMass Amherst:

  • Nothing new to report today.

 UMass Lowell:

  • Very busy with semester starts, snow days and extensions of add/drop periods

  • Pretty much the same as Lowell.

  • No update today.
