Definition

Themes are pre-defined style sets that can be applied to alter the appearance of your site. Themes allow you to personalise the 'look and feel' of Confluence. You can apply a theme to your entire Confluence site and to individual spaces. Choose a specific theme if you want to add new functionality or significantly alter the appearance of Confluence.

This is the original Confluence look and feel. Page content spans the full width of the screen.

 

This theme is well suited for structured content, such as documentation. It features a table of contents (page tree) on the left, making it easier to see the structure of a space and move from page to page. You can customize the left-hand panel, page header and page footer.
